The Equireel cameras were back at Norton Disney again on Saturday to capture all the Eventing action. The second of three days of British Eventing competition included 80, 90 and 100 classes. Be sure to stay tuned for our montage at the end of the show which features numerous riders from across all of Saturdays classes. The day kicked off with a thrilling British Eventing 90 where Grace Mulligan and E Q S SACCOR won Section G. Despite picking up some time penalties on cross country they had enough in hand to hold off the challenge of Lillie Barnett and the Irish bred gelding CARRABAWN FRANCIS, while Florence Campion rounded off the top three
Section H, sponsored by Tiggas Saddlery, went the way of Laura Pitman and her mare KILFEARAGH HIGH SOCIETY. Despite having one down in their show jumping round their excellent dressage score was enough to ensure victory on a score of 30 point 3. Lillie Barnet had to settle for the runner up spot for the second time of the day, this time with William and Lorna Walker’s Emlyn on a score of 32 point 5. Abigail Kerridge and her own mare CHELSEA SHOWCASE finished on their dressage score of 32 point 8 to take the final podium position.
The final 90 section of the day went the way of Caroline Cook and her own gelding CLOONAGH SHADOW. Having their opening run of the season, they finished on their impressive dressage score of 23 point 3. They were pushed all the way by Lauren West and her own mare A K COLOUR ME PERFECT who also finished on their dressage score of 26 point 5. Charlotte Maxey and GREENYON LAD took the yellow ribbon on 29 point 1.
The action moved on to the British Eventing 80 classes after a quick change of courses at the picturesque Lincolnshire venue. NIMBUS BLAISE made an impressive season debut in the capable hands of Ollie Rowlands to win the Tower Equine sponsored section J on a score of 31 point 8. Cross Country time faults cost Sarah Watkins and her mare TEEVEENY FLAGMOUNT the top spot while Laura Garratt on her own BAILEY REBEL took the final podium position on a score of 33.
Section K, sponsored by The Well Being Barn, also proved to be an extremely competitive section with the first five placed combinations separated by just 3 marks and all 5 finished on their dressage score. Simon Hopkinson and his own mare HALLOWBERRY HI FI put in a brilliant early season performance to win on a score of 26. Jane Haskell and FURZLEY FANFAIRE were narrowly beaten to the top spot finishing on 26 point 3. Harriette Howard and KELLYTHORPES KITTEN HEELS finished on a score of 28 point 8 to take third place.
Amelia Maycock and the gorgeous CARNSDALE GHOSTBUSTER put in a great display of jumping to win the hotly contested under 18 section sponsored by Addo Events. They were foot perfect throughout the jumping phases to finish on their dressage score of 28 point 8. Jemima Gautier and FIELDSIDE ROYAL APPROVAL were narrowly beaten into second place, also finishing on their dressage score of 29 while Lily-Anna Outram and CHESSWOOD SANDPIPER took the third spot.
After the final course change of the day the action moved on to the British Eventing 100 classes. World number 4 Oliver Townend and TANIA SLATERS KING EDWARD OF BARRELLS finished on their excellent dressage score of 22 point 8 to win the A J W Equestrian sponsored section em. Izzy Taylor had to settle for both second and third in the section. She rode Alex Phillips UNDERDOG Z to second on a score of 23 point 8 while her other mount Chilled Guy, an Irish bred gelding, was third on a score of 27.
Izzy managed to go one better in the final section of the day, putting in the lowest score of the day and finishing on her amazing dressage score of 18 with the British bred stallion FUTURE GUILTY PLEASURE. This excellent dressage performance gave them more than a pole to spare over Katie Stephens-grandy and her own gelding TRENDY MAGIC TOUCH on a score of 24 point 8. Katherine Stewart and her gelding DELIGHTFUL MR CLOVER took home the yellow ribbon on a score of 25.

Unfortunately not, because we capture every competitor , our cameras are rolling continuosly all day. Therefore we cannot process clips for every competitor. Please check out our sample rounds from previous events for picture quality and coverage.
